The F-Secure Safe interface has been completely revamped. The stylized hilly terrain featuring clouds and trees has been replaced with a flat, three-panel design with security status indicators (red when there’s something wrong and green when everything is working fine).

This includes creating and maintaining a trusted list of components, applying threat modeling to gauge the risk, communicating security standards to third parties and checking compliance, using secure coding practices and top tools in the industry as well as performing automated or manual vulnerability tests and reviews.

A solid, scalable security system is essential for creating solid and reliable software. This is particularly relevant to systems with a high profile, such as those used in healthcare, financial services automotive, and homeland security. These systems need stricter requirements for coding, such as those in the MISRA C++ and MISRA C++ coding standards to avoid vulnerabilities that could compromise safety.
